Pastor of Youth and Worship Ministries
We are currently in the process of seeking a servant leader to provide
leadership in the areas of Youth and Worship Ministries.
This full-time salaried position is directly accountable to the Senior
Pastor and secondarily to the Administrative Board. The chosen
candidate will have an educational and/or experience background in
Youth and Music/Worship Ministries (a degree is preferable);
demonstrate strengths in the areas of teamwork, flexibility,
communication and innovation; and have 3-5 years of experience (full
or part time) in ministry in a congregation of greater than 200 attendees.
Approximately 65% of this person’s time will be invested in creating a
relationally nurturing environment for students; equipping students for
a growing relationship with Jesus that results in reaching their peers
for Christ; assisting parents in guiding their children toward becoming
disciples; and identifying, equipping and supporting a volunteer
ministry team. Currently, a team of 10 staff persons is ministering to
over 40 students (grades 6-12).
Approximately 30% of this person’s time will be invested in leading
contemporary worship ministries by planning and leading worship
services that communicate Biblical truth in modern languages and
forms; preparing a volunteer worship team to facilitate worship; and
identifying, equipping and supporting volunteers in staffing Worship,
Music and Technical Support (sound, video projection, and video
recording) Ministries.
Approximately 5% of this person’s time will be invested in assisting the
Senior Pastor in preaching and care giving ministries during vacations
and emergency situations.
