We know that walking into a new place for the first time can be intimidating. Here’s what you can expect to experience on your first visit to Prince Street Church, starting with how to find a place to park:
We have plenty of parking. Feel free to park wherever is most convenient for you. We have several handicapped spaces along Martin Avenue. Please be sure to reserve them for those who need them.
Our building was built at a time when many people walked. That’s why our “main” entrance is on the opposite side of the parking lot (along Martin Ave.) The most direct entrance to the sanctuary is through the door facing the large parking area on the north side (toward the University) of the church. Other entrances have directional signs guiding you toward specific areas of the building. An elevator is available in the main hallway. If you’d like help finding anything, feel free to ask. We’ll be happy to assist you in finding where to hang your coat, drop off your children or find your way to the sanctuary.
Prince Street Church promotes a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will find people dressed in shorts and tee shirts, some in business-casual attire, and some who prefer to dress in suits and dresses. We invite you to join us for worship in whatever is most comfortable for you.
Our offices are located in a house at 17 N. Penn Street. It’s closed on Sundays. You’ll find our staff in or near the sanctuary both before and after all worship services.
We know that children need to be ministered to in ways that help them understand the Bible and how it works in their lives. Nursery care is provided for children age 3 and under at all worship services. The nursery is located at the end of the long hallway on the lower level. We’ll be happy to help you find it. During the 11:00a service, we have a special Children’s Worship for school-aged children. Students are escorted to the children’s ministries area during the sermon. Parents are asked to pick them up personally when the service is over.
High School & Jr. High School students (grades 6-12) are invited to participate in the worship services on Sunday mornings, and attend the weekly Kindle program on Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm.
