PSC: Why do you attend PSC?
CF: I attend Prince Street Church for three reasons. I
was raised in this church, and I raised my family in this
church. After taking a membership class, I found my
beliefs and the beliefs and doctrines of the United
Brethren Church are a very close match, and most of my
spiritual training, as well as many of my spiritual mentors,
come from this church.
PSC: What do you like most about Prince Street Church?
CF: I most like the small-town atmosphere. I like knowing
most of the people and their families that I worship with.
PSC: Which ministry are you involved with and why?
CF: I am involved with the children's ministry. The goal of
the children's ministry, is two-fold. We like to show
children that church can be a friendly, non-threatening,
fun place to come and learn about God, while also
encouraging them to develop a deeper relationship with
God and introducing them to the plan of salvation.
PSC: Which worship service do you attend?
CF: I mostly attend the first service since I lead Toddler
Nursery during second service. However, when I can, I
like to sit in on second service as well.
PSC: Where are you from originally? How long have you
lived in Shippensburg?
CF: I was born and raised in Shippensburg. and have
lived here all my life.
PSC: Do you have a hobby? What do you enjoy about it?
CF: My hobbies include any kind of crafting but especially
sewing. I recently took a class in hand quilting and I am
looking forward to taking a class in cake decorating after
Christmas. I also enjoy reading and walking.
