Worship Ministry
We hold two morning worship celebrations each Sunday morning. We
also include a variety of special services throughout the year. Here's a
summary to help you get a feel for what you'll find when you come.
Traditional Worship - 8:30 AM
Some people are early risers. Others prefer hymns and gospel songs.
Still others like a little more formal atmosphere. That's why they attend
the traditional worship celebration. A choir, organ and piano generally
assist in leading singing. The average age of the congregation tends
toward the Senior Adult range, but you'll find some younger families,
too. And when it comes to dress, you'll see a few suits...and a few
jeans. But most choose dress casual.
Contemporary Worship - 11:00 AM
For those who prefer a later time, modern music, or a relaxed
atmosphere, the contemporary worship celebration is the perfect fit. A
worship team of singers, guitars, drums and keyboards generally
assist in leading singing. The average age tends to be younger, but
you will find some Senior Adults. And the dress is generally casual.
For the Kids...
Children need to hear God's Word in words they understand. That's
why during the sermon, we have a special Children's Worship time just
for them. For Traditional Worship, our teens provide ministry for
students in grades 1-5. For Contemporary Worship, we divide children
into two age groups; 3-K and grades 1-5. Parents may pick up their
children in the Children's Worship area, located on the long hall of the
lower level.
Nursery Care is provided for children too young for Children's Worship.
