Bible Reading Workshop — October 18

The Discipleship Commission will host a workshop from 12–2:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall to learn a technique that can help improve your understanding as you read the Bible. Lunch will be provided.

The 164th Annual PA State Sunday School Convention will be held at Mt. Pleasant UB Church from 8:30 AM–4 PM. This year’s theme is Finding Hope in a Hopeless World. The Discipleship Commission will cover the cost.

Ministries Serving Our Church Family

Blanket Ministry

Did you know Prince Street Church has a blanket ministry? Thanks to our Fruitful Friendly Fellowship members, each blanket is handmade and donated. Every blanket is tagged and prayed over, asking God to bless the person who will eventually receive it.

Blankets are available on the shelf by the chapel bathrooms and may be picked up and given to anyone going through a difficult time, such as surgery, a loss, or another situation where God’s love and comfort would be a blessing.

When you pick up a blanket, please take a moment to complete the information on the clipboard beside the shelf. Thank you for helping us share God’s love and care with others!

Nourishing Hands Ministry

Nourishing Hands provides meals for those recovering from surgery or illness. If you or someone you know needs meals, or if you would like to help, please contact the office (717)532-8404.

CommUNITY Fall Fest — November 7 Save the date for the CommUNITY Fall Fest on Saturday, November 7, from 5–8 PM at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds. Several local churches are working together to organize this community event, and Prince Street Church is excited to participate. Our Children’s Ministry has already helped plan some carnival games! Volunteers will be needed that evening in several areas. Signups will be available beginning next week. Come help us share the love of Christ with our community! Parents, Join us for 21 days of Prayer
Prince Street Church has begun a 21-day prayer emphasis, September 13 through October 3. During these 21 days, our church family is praying one simple prayer each day: “Holy Spirit, help me see where You are at work today and give me courage to join You.” Parents, we would love for you to participate—and to invite your family to pray with you. Here are three prompts to help you begin: Spirit, lead me. Give me patience, wisdom, and grace in the way I speak and respond at home. Spirit, lead our church. Help Prince Street Church support families and become a spiritual family for people in every season of life. Spirit, lead us into our community. Show our family a neighbor, classmate, or local need that we can pray for and serve together. You might pray together at breakfast, around the dinner table, at bedtime, or during the drive to school. Then ask one another: Where did you notice God at work today? JOIN US FOR 21 DAYS OF PRAYER
From September 13 through October 3, Prince Street Church is setting aside 21 days to seek God together. During these 21 days, we are encouraging everyone in our church family to pray one simple prayer each day: “Holy Spirit, help me see where You are at work today and give me courage to join You.” To help us pray together, we are sharing a new post each day on the Prince Street Church Facebook page. Each post includes a short reflection and a specific prayer focus based on one of three prompts: Spirit, lead me. What does God want to do in my life? Spirit, lead our church. How is God leading Prince Street Church? Spirit, lead us into our community. Where is God already working around us, and how can we join Him? Visit our Facebook page each day to follow the campaign and pray alongside your church family. We have also created a phone lockscreen featuring our daily prayer. Download it below and set it as your lockscreen as a simple reminder to pause, pray, and pay attention to where God is working throughout your day. This Week at PSC – July 12, 2026 Here’s what’s happening around Prince Street Church this week. Whether you’re joining us for worship, looking for ways to serve, or planning ahead for upcoming events, we hope you’ll find opportunities to grow in your faith and connect with our church family. Worship This Sunday Join us this Sunday as Pastor Michael Gleason continues our Seek Ye First sermon series with a message titled “Be the Right Soil” from Matthew 13:1–23. Jesus’ parable challenges us to examine our hearts and consider how we respond to God’s Word. Come prepared to worship, grow, and encourage one another. Need to catch up before Sunday? If you missed last week’s message, take a few minutes to watch it online and stay connected as we journey through the Seek Ye First series together. → Watch Last Week’s Sermon Children in grades K–5 will be dismissed for Children’s Worship during the service, and nursery care is available for children up to age five. Sunday Morning Schedule Donuts & Coffee – 9:00 AM Sunday School – 9:30 AM Worship Service – 10:45 AM Mission Team Donations Our Kentucky Mission Team is preparing to serve in Laurel this August, and you can be part of the ministry by helping provide needed supplies. Pick up a flower from the table at the back of the sanctuary, purchase the listed item, and return it as soon as you’re able. Student Ministries Take a Break This Week There will be no Student Ministries gathering on Wednesday, July 15 as our leaders take a brief pause before upcoming summer events. We encourage students and families to use the evening to spend time together, invite a friend over, or dig into God’s Word at home. We’re looking forward to gathering again soon as we continue growing together in faith and preparing for an exciting remainder of the summer. Opportunities to Serve Fair Parking Volunteers Our annual Fair Parking ministry returns July 22, 24, and 25.
