Uprise Festival 2026

Prince Street Students is heading to Uprise Festival for two days of live Christian music, worship, and time together!

Uprise Festival will take place on Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Shippensburg Community Fairgrounds. This year’s featured artists include Brandon Lake, Skillet, TOBYMAC, CeCe Winans, Crowder, and many more.

Ticket Cost

Student accounts will offset a portion of the ticket price. The costs below are the remaining amounts students will pay after the student-account contribution has been applied:

Full two-day event: $80

Friday only: $55

Saturday only: $55

Friday | September 11

Pickup at Shippensburg Area Senior High School: 2:45 PM in the back of the High School.

We will pick students up at the high school at 2:45 PM and head to Uprise together.

If your student cannot meet us at the high school at that time, please contact us. We can make arrangements for them to meet us earlier at the church or meet us at the Uprise gates.

The final concert Friday is scheduled to begin at 9:45 PM.

We anticipate returning to the Prince Street Church parking lot between 11:00–11:30 PM.

Students will contact their parents when we leave Uprise so you have a better idea of when to meet us at the church.

Friday Meal

Students attending Friday evening will need to provide their own food.

Saturday | September 12

Meet at Prince Street Church Parking Lot: 11:00 AM

We will meet at the church and head to Uprise together.

The final concert Saturday is scheduled to begin at 9:15 PM.

We anticipate returning to the Prince Street Church parking lot between 10:30–11:00 PM.

Again, students will contact their parents when we leave Uprise so you know when we're headed back to the church.

Student Ministry Parent Reminder: Mini Golf This Wednesday
Student Ministry Parent Reminder: Mini Golf This Wednesday Our Student Ministry is looking forward to a fun evening of fellowship this Wednesday as we head out for mini golf! This is a great opportunity for students to spend time together, build friendships, and enjoy a night of fun outside of our regular programming. Event Details Date: Wednesday Meet: 5:30 PM at the Youth House Return: Approximately 8:00 PM Destination: Wallace Golf Shop 1065 Heritage Ave. Shippensburg, PA 17254 Parent Information Please have your student arrive at the Youth House by 5:30 PM so we can leave together as a group. We expect to return around 8:00 PM, and students can be picked up at the Youth House at that time. Looking Ahead Here are a few dates to keep on your calendar: Next Wednesday: There will be no Student Ministry gathering. The Following Wednesday: We will not meet because of the Shippensburg Community Fair. The Last Wednesday in July: Join us for our annual Lake Day at Raystown Lake (Tatman Run Recreation Area)! This is one of our favorite summer traditions, and more details—including times, what to bring, and transportation information—will be shared soon. Why We Do This At Prince Street Church, we believe our students are not just the future of the church—they are an important part of the church today. As a Student Ministry, our mission is to Praise God, Serve Others, and Cultivate Disciples. Whether we’re studying God’s Word, serving together, or enjoying an evening of mini golf, our desire is to help students grow in their faith, encourage one another, and build Christ-centered friendships. 🚗 Student Ministry Families: We Need Your Help at Fair Parking!
This year, our Student Ministry has an exciting new opportunity to raise funds by serving at Fair Parking during the Shippensburg Fair! On Wednesday, July 22, Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, Prince Street Church will be providing parking on the corner of Possum Hollow Road. Donations received during these days will go directly to support the Prince Street Church Student Ministry, helping provide opportunities for students to grow in their faith, serve others, and participate in future ministry events. We’d Love Your Help! We’re inviting parents and students to serve together during a 2–3 hour shift. It’s a simple way to support Student Ministry while serving alongside your church family and connecting with our community. Parent Update | Student Ministry This Week of June 29-July 5
We’re looking forward to another great week together in Student Ministry! This Wednesday will be a relaxed evening of games, food, and fellowship as students spend time building friendships and enjoying the summer together. We hope your student will join us—and invite a friend! This Week: Game Night Date: Wednesday, July 1 Time: 6:00–8:00 PM Location: Youth House Cost: Free What to Expect We’ll have a variety of: 🎲 Board Games 🃏 Card Games 🎮 Video Games 🍕 Food and snacks 😊 Plenty of fun and fellowship! What to Bring Students are encouraged to bring their favorite card game to share with the group (please make sure it’s appropriate for everyone). Why It Matters Summer is a great time to strengthen friendships and encourage one another in Christ. Nights like these provide opportunities for students to connect, welcome new friends, and continue growing together as a church family in a fun and relaxed environment. Looking Ahead 🎯 Wednesday, July 8 – Mini Golf Night Next week we’ll head out for an evening of mini golf and fellowship! Student Ministry Parent Update- Week of June 21-28
Summer is in full swing, and we wanted to send a quick reminder about what’s happening this week and next in Student Ministry. Vacation Bible School This Week Vacation Bible School is taking place Monday through Thursday this week, and many of our students are serving throughout the week in a variety of roles. We are grateful for the students who are investing their time to serve younger children, build relationships, and help share the love of Christ during VBS. Please pray that God would use our students and volunteers to make a lasting impact in the lives of the children attending VBS. We also encourage students and their families to join us for our Church Picnic on Sunday as we celebrate all that God has done through VBS this week and gather together as a church family. No Regular Youth Gathering This Wednesday Because of VBS activities, there will be no regular Wednesday night Student Ministry gathering this week. We encourage our students who are serving at VBS to give their best as they serve and represent Christ throughout the week. Join Us for the Church Picnic This Sunday We would love for your family to join us this Sunday, June 28, for our annual Church Picnic at Shippensburg Township Park on Britton Road. This special day is an opportunity for our church family to worship together, enjoy great food, build relationships, and celebrate what God is doing in our church community—including the impact of Vacation Bible School. Student Ministry Parent Update | June 17 VBS Preparation Night
Summer is underway in Student Ministry, and we are excited about the opportunities our students have to grow in their faith, build Christ-centered friendships, and serve others throughout the coming weeks. One of our goals is to help students move beyond simply attending events and begin actively participating in God’s work. This week’s Student Ministry gathering is a great example of that. This Week: VBS Preparation Night Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2026 Time: 6:00–8:00 PM Location: Prince Street Church Vacation Bible School is one of the largest outreach ministries of the year at Prince Street Church, and our students play an important role in helping make it happen. This Wednesday, students will help decorate the church and prepare classrooms as we get ready to welcome children and families from our community. Students will also spend part of the evening distributing VBS invitations throughout the neighborhood, helping us personally invite families to join us for this important outreach ministry. While these may seem like simple tasks, they are opportunities for students to serve others, support the ministry of the church, and participate in sharing the love of Christ with our community. We encourage all students entering grades 6–12 to join us as we prepare for VBS together. Why This Matters At Prince Street Church, we believe discipleship happens through both learning God’s Word and putting our faith into action. Serving helps students: Develop a heart for ministry. Learn responsibility and teamwork. Build relationships with other students. Discover how God can use their gifts. Experience the joy of serving others in Jesus’ name. As students help prepare for VBS and invite families from our community, they are participating in a ministry that creates opportunities for children to hear the Gospel and experience the love of Christ. Looking Ahead June 22–25 Vacation Bible School Many of our students will be serving throughout VBS week. Please pray that God would use them to share His love with the children who attend and that many young hearts would hear the Gospel. July 1 Student Ministry Game Night A fun evening of games, snacks, fellowship, and friendly competition. July 8 Mini Golf at Wallace Golf Students will enjoy an evening of fellowship and mini golf together. More details for upcoming events will be shared as they approach. How You Can Pray As parents, one of the most important ways you can support Student Ministry is through prayer. Please pray: For students as they serve and invite others to VBS. For families in our community who receive invitations. For the children and families who will attend VBS. For meaningful Gospel conversations throughout VBS week. Student Ministry Summer Schedule 2026
Summer is one of our favorite seasons in Student Ministry at Prince Street Church. While school may be out, our mission remains the same: helping students know Jesus, grow in their faith, build Christ-centered friendships, and discover how God can use them to impact the world around them. Throughout the summer, we'll spend time serving others, having fun together, building relationships, and continuing to grow as disciples of Jesus. Whether you're a longtime part of our ministry or looking for a place to connect for the first time, we'd love for you to join us. Student Ministry is open to all students in grades 6–12, and every event is designed to help students take another step in their walk with Christ while creating memories that will last long after summer ends. Our Summer Focus This summer, we want to encourage students to: Grow in their knowledge of God's Word. Build strong Christ-centered friendships. Serve others with humility and joy. Develop a faith that is their own. Have fun in a Christ-centered community. We believe discipleship happens both through studying Scripture and through sharing life together. That's why our summer calendar includes opportunities to serve, connect, grow, and enjoy fellowship with one another. Summer Schedule June 11 🎢 Hershey Park Trip We're kicking off the summer with a full day of fun at Hersheypark! Students will enjoy rides, fellowship, and making memories together as we spend the day at one of Pennsylvania's favorite destinations. June 18 🎨 VBS Preparation Night- Vacation Bible School is one of the biggest outreach opportunities of the year, and our students play an important role in helping make it happen. Join us as we prepare classrooms, decorations, and materials while serving the church and getting ready to welcome children from our community. June 22–25 🌟 Vacation Bible School Many of our students will spend the week serving at VBS, helping lead activities, build relationships with children, and share the love of Jesus. We are excited to see students use their gifts and talents to make a difference in the lives of others. July 1 🎲 Student Ministry Game Night Bring a friend and join us for an evening of games, laughter, snacks, and friendly competition. Whether you're highly competitive or just looking for a fun night with friends, Game Night is a great opportunity to connect and build relationships. July 8 ⛳ Mini Golf at Wallace Golf We'll head to Wallace Golf for an evening of mini golf and fellowship. Cost: $10 per student Come ready for some friendly competition, lots of laughs, and a great evening together. July 15 ☀️ Summer Break – No Student Ministry There will be no Student Ministry gathering this week. We encourage students and families to enjoy the evening together, rest, and continue seeking Christ throughout the summer. July 22 🎡 Fair Week – No Student Ministry Gathering During Fair Week, we will not hold our regular Student Ministry meeting. Many members of our church family will be enjoying and participating in activities throughout the community. If you see members of Prince Street Church at the fair, be sure to stop and say hello. Find us at the Fair! July 29 🏖️ Annual Lake Trip One of our favorite summer traditions returns as we head to Raystown Lake (Tatman Run Area) for a day at the lake. Students can enjoy swimming, games, fellowship, food, and plenty of summer fun while spending time together in God's creation. More details regarding times, transportation, and what to bring will be shared as the event approaches. Why Student Ministry Matters Student Ministry is about more than events and activities. Our desire is to see students become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. We want students to know God's Word, own their faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover that God has a purpose for their lives right now—not someday in the future. Every game, trip, service opportunity, and Bible study is intended to help students take another step toward Christ. Join Us This Summer Student Ministry is open to all students in grades 6–12. If you're looking for a place to belong, grow, and connect with others this summer, we'd love to have you join us. As we look ahead to the coming months, we're praying that God would use this summer to deepen faith, strengthen friendships, and help students discover more of who He has called them to be. 🎢 Student Ministry Hersheypark Trip Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2026 Departure: 9:30 AM from Prince Street Church Return: Approximately 9:00 PM Our Student Ministry is heading to Hersheypark for a day of fun, fellowship, and making memories together! Students will enjoy rides, attractions, games, and The Boardwalk Water Park while spending time with friends and leaders. What to Bring Extra spending money for food, drinks, arcade games, lockers, and souvenirs Please note: Hersheypark is cashless. Students should bring a debit card, credit card, gift card, or another electronic payment method. Water bottle Comfortable, modest, weather-appropriate clothing Comfortable walking shoes Modest swim attire for The Boardwalk Water Park Men must wear modest, loose-fitting swim trunks (no speedos) Women must wear modest bathing suits, including one-piece suits or long-torso tankinis (no bikinis) Towel Change of clothes Sunscreen Backpack (all bags are subject to search at the park entrance) Please Do Not Bring Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives) Laser pointers Heelys Hersheypark does not permit outside food or beverages inside the park. Student Expectations As representatives of Christ, Prince Street Church, and our Student Ministry, students are expected to: Treat others with kindness and respect. Follow instructions from adult leaders. Remain with their assigned group unless given permission otherwise. Be present and on time for all scheduled group check-ins. Failure to attend check-ins may result in restrictions for the remainder of the trip, as these check-ins are essential for the safety and accountability of the group. Wear modest clothing that reflects Christian character. Demonstrate Christ-like behavior throughout the day. Help make this a fun and safe experience for everyone. We are excited for a great day together and look forward to what God will do as we build friendships and enjoy time together as a Student Ministry family!
