Strong Church Formation
Join Us for Strong Church Formation What does it look like for Prince Street Church to continue growing—not simply bigger, but deeper? We are inviting members of our Prince Street Church family to join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, as we travel to Devonshire Church in Harrisburg for the Strong Church Formation workshop. This gathering is an opportunity for us to learn, worship, and grow alongside other United Brethren churches while thinking intentionally about the kind of church God is calling us to become. Growing Deeper Together At the 2025 United Brethren National Conference, a new definition of a local congregation was embraced around three important expectations of a maturing church: Spiritually Alive Deepening our vitality in Christ and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. Relationally Connected Building authentic Christian community where people are known, loved, encouraged, and supported. Missionally Engaged Living out the life and mission of Christ in our community and our world. The Strong Church Formation series is designed to help churches move from metrics to maturity, from maturity to unity, and from unity to multiplication. We Want You to Join Us While this workshop is especially valuable for church staff, board members, ministry leaders, and those who attended the 2025 National Conference, our invitation is open to members of the Prince Street Church family who want to attend. You don't need to hold a particular position or title. If you care about the ministry and future of Prince Street Church and want to grow alongside others as we seek God's direction for our church, we would love for you to join us. Event Details Saturday, September 12, 2026 9:00 AM–3:30 PM Devonshire Church | Harrisburg, PA The workshop will be led by Bishop Todd Fetters and Mike Dittman, Director of National Ministries. Together, we'll be equipped, connect with the larger United Brethren family, worship, and consider practical ways our churches can grow deeper and stronger. Let's Go Together We believe this can be a valuable day for our church—not just for individual learning, but for helping us think and pray together about the future of Prince Street Church. Come be part of the conversation. Come be encouraged. Come help us consider how PSC can continue becoming a church that is Spiritually Alive, Relationally Connected, and Missionally Engaged.REGISTER TO ATTEND WITH PSC

Sons of the Shepherd
his past Sunday, our church family was blessed to hear from Matthew Robinson, founder of Sons of the Shepherd. Through his own journey of profound loss, God has given Matt a ministry dedicated to helping men navigate grief with biblical hope, authentic community, and steadfast faith. (Commission to Every Nation) About Sons of the Shepherd Sons of the Shepherd exists to walk alongside men who are carrying the weight of grief, loss, and life’s unexpected hardships. The ministry provides encouragement, biblical teaching, and Christ-centered brotherhood for men learning to lead their families and continue following Jesus even in seasons of deep sorrow. Matt’s ministry was born out of personal experience after losing his first wife, Tiffanie, following a battle with cancer. Rather than allowing grief to define his life, God has used that journey to create a ministry that points hurting men to the hope and faithfulness of Christ. (Commission to Every Nation) Why This Matters As followers of Christ, we are called to “bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2). Ministries like Sons of the Shepherd remind us that no one has to walk through grief alone. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, facing a difficult season, or know someone who is, there is hope found in Christ and strength found in biblical community. Learn More If Sunday’s message encouraged you or you’d like to learn more about the ministry, we invite you to explore the resources available through Sons of the Shepherd. Ministry Website: https://www.sonsoftheshepherd.org/ Please continue to pray for Matthew Robinson, his family, and the ongoing work of Sons of the Shepherd as they faithfully minister to men and families in need of the hope of the Gospel. “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 Thank you, Matthew, for sharing your testimony and encouraging our church family to trust the Good Shepherd through every season of life. Praise God. Serve Others. Cultivate Disciples.

From Hope to Following the King
This past Sunday we were reminded of the foundation of our hope. Our hope is not in our circumstances, our strength, or our ability to hold on. Our hope is in the risen Christ. Because our hope is in Him, we anchor ourselves in God’s Word. His Word continually points us to Christ, shapes our hearts, and teaches us how to live faithfully in a changing world. Pastor John reminded us that faithful followers of Jesus keep their eyes fixed on Christ, anchor themselves in God’s Word, and trust God with the results. But that naturally leads to another question: What does faithful living actually look like? Faithfulness is more than believing the right things. It is learning to live every part of life under the reign of the right King. That’s where we’re headed over the next three weeks. Beginning this Sunday, we’ll start a new series called Seek First, following Jesus’ teaching from Matthew 6, Matthew 13, and Matthew 7. Together we’ll discover what it means to live as citizens of God’s Kingdom. Week 1 — Seek the Right Kingdom Matthew 6:19–34 What do you treasure? How do you see the world? Where does your allegiance truly lie? Week 2 — Be the Right Soil Matthew 13:1–23 Jesus teaches that the condition of our hearts determines how we receive His Word and whether our lives bear fruit for His Kingdom. Week 3 — Build on the Right Foundation Matthew 7:13–27 Every life is built on something. Jesus calls us not merely to hear His words, but to put them into practice by building our lives on Him. As you prepare your heart this week, spend a few moments reflecting on these questions: What do I value most? How do I see the world? Where does my allegiance truly lie? My prayer is that throughout this series God would continue shaping us—not simply into people who know about His Kingdom, but into people who joyfully live under the loving rule and reign of King Jesus. We’d love for you to join us this Sunday as we begin Seek First. Sunday School: 9:30 AM Worship Gathering: 10:45 AM “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 -Pastor Michael
